Teen killed and 4 injured in Thousand Oaks after suspect stabbed Walmart worker and crashed into students at high school
A TEENAGER is dead and several others are seriously hurt after a car slammed into students near a high school on Tuesday.
Three high school students survived after the car drove off a street in Thousand Oaks, California and hit them on the sidewalk.
The crash happened across the street from Westlake High School, the Ventura County Fire Department said.
A 15-year-old boy died after being rushed to the hospital.

A 16-year-old girl, 15-year-old boy, and 14-year-old girl are recovering from their injuries.
The driver, who was identified as 24-year-old Austin Eis, was trapped in the vehicle after it flipped during the crash.

The Simi Valley Police Department identified the driver as a suspect in a stabbing at a nearby Walmart earlier on Tuesday.
Witnesses gave cops the description of Eis' vehicle and his license plate after he allegedly stabbed a store worker.
The employee survived the stabbing, which happened at around 2.45pm - about an hour before the crash.
Eis is expected to be booked on charges of assault and homicide, according to The Ventura County Star.

"The motive for the attack in Simi Valley is yet to be determined, and the investigation remains ongoing," the police department said.
"Some details regarding the investigation cannot be released due to investigative integrity at this time and the multi-jurisdictional nature of this crime."
Students gathered on Tuesday night for a vigil near the crash site, where they placed candles and flowers to honor the boy who died.
His identity has not yet been released.
The Conejo Valley Unified School District said that grief counselors would be available to students on Wednesday following the tragedy.
